Course objectives: enjoy exercise. Improve fitness. Enhance wellness. Learn proper techniques of aerobic walking using the large muscle groups. Increase motivation for better health, fitness, and diet. A prerequisite for this course is that you must be willing to have a good time and smile!!


Pe 1 exercise walking is a pass / no pass course.Three unexcused absences are allowed.
Grading is based on attendance and participation. In addition, technical and tactical skill development is assessed and supported throughout the quarter.

Required equipment: proper shoes, t-shirts, shorts or sweats..

Lockers and towels can be obtained in locker room equipment room.

If you are not feeling well, please notify instructor via phone or email. Do not attend class.


--There are risks and dangers inherent in participating and/or receiving instruction in PHE 1 Activity courses. Injury resulting from participation is always a possibility in physical activity. Please follow the guidelines provided and adhere to any rules established. Please notify instructor immediately if you become injured or ill, or feel that you should not participate.
