Description

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This class is designed to help players, who have a basic understanding of technical and tactical aspects of volleyball, learn to play the game on a more proficient level. Instruction will focus mostly on systems of play with some time devoted to individual skill development. This is a P/NP (pass/no pass) physical activities class desiring to introduce a recreational activity that promotes a life style of physical fitness and personal health.

 

GRADING:
Attendance: The maximum number of allowable absences is three (3). More than 3 absences will result in a “No Pass” for the course. In addition, technical and tactical skill development is assessed and supported throughout the quarter.

Participation: Class participation in activities is a must.

DRESS: Wear tennis shoes, sweats, shorts, a t-shirt (knee pads are recommended but optional). :

There are risks and dangers inherent in participating and/or in receiving instruction in a PE-1 activity course.  Injury resulting from participation is always a possibility in physical activity.  Please carefully follow the guidelines provided in this class.  Please notify your instructor immediately if you become injured or ill. If not expressed, the assumption is that the student is in good health and is capable of participating in all facets of physical activity related to this class.
